Guest Reviews & Ratings
The hotel is situated in a lively area, perfect for night owls looking to explore the Federal Hill scene, but noise from the nearby nightclub may affect light sleepers. The suite I stayed in had some maintenance issues like missing curtains and a broken lamp, yet it offered a functional kitchen setup. The wet paint on the walls was a bit of a surprise, adding to the mixed impressions of the room.
The hotel offers modern, spacious, and spotless rooms with an unusual extra lighting setup that gives them a distinct feel. The location is fantastic, situated in a charming Italian-style piazza close to downtown, making it ideal for exploring Federal Hill. The dining options include great Italian restaurants nearby, but some service issues were noted during the stay.
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mix. The rooms were not exactly soundproof and on the smaller side, with a view of the dumpsters, lacking charm and not the most pleasant to come back to, but the kitchen was phenomenal. The service was a bit dismissive but there were moments of wonderful and remarkably helpful interactions, especially with John and Ryan. The location was great, just a 5-minute walk to downtown Providence with a nice setting to start your day, though there were hints of issues with the plumbing and ventilation systems. The dining experience was decent but a bit pricey for what we got. Overall, a stay with its ups and downs.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, while basic and comfortable, were exceptionally clean but had a strong bleach smell. The service was a bit hit-and-miss, with some staff being friendly and helpful, while others were not very friendly or responsive. The location was both wonderful and disappointing, offering proximity to great restaurants and bars but also showing signs of mildew and possible rodents. The dining options were available but still a bit pricey for the value offered.
The hotel offers clean and very comfortable rooms with a fully stocked kitchen and a lovely balcony overlooking the plaza. While the decor is standard indeed, it provides the bare minimum essentials. The service was present but unfortunately extremely rude, making me hesitant to recommend the hotel to others. The location, although loud with guests screaming off the balcony, is a nice setting to start the day, but the hotel front faces the patio, which can be challenging to locate. The dining experience was delightful, including dishes like French toast with strawberries and vanilla pancakes with syrup. Overall, the facilities are decent and could use a tidy up.
